About
My name is Alexandra (Sascha), I am a yoga teacher from Sydney Australia. My days are filled by teaching yoga classes, studying natural medicine (Naturopathy), fire dancing and making crystal jewellery. Health, wellness and living a full life is what I am passionate about. I am so grateful to be able to do the things that I love and share them with others, hopefully inspiring them to do the same.
Yoga was introduced to me when I was a child, but I didn’t fully resonate with it until my late teens. When I did, I quickly realised that I wanted to take my yoga practice to the next level and so I travelled to India to study at an ashram called Yoga Vidya Gurukul, in Trimbak. I spent a lot of time in India studying and when I returned to Australia continued to deepen my practice by further study.
Yoga is an amazing transformational practice, not only for the physical body, but also for the spirit and mind. I can say that yoga has helped me heal myself in so many ways, and I have seen it transform my students as well. I feel blessed to be on this path.
